Chorus | Palmetto Singers | Orchestra | Salsa Dancers | Band

Chorus: Students must be in grades 2 nd – 5 th and must love to sing and be able to rehearse three mornings a week beginning at 7:50 AM .

Palmetto Singers:Students must be in grades 2nd – 5th and audition at the beginning of the year. Students should be able to match pitch with their voice, meaning when they hear a series of notes on the piano, they must sing it back with the same pitches.

Orchestra:Students can be in any grade and do not need any experience for orchestra, but must be able to read music notes. Anyone joining orchestra should be sure they will stay for at least one semester.

Salsa Dancers:Students must be in 5th grade and Not be SHY to dance!

Band:Students must be in grades 2nd – 5th, able to have their own band instrument, and be able to read music notes. Percussion players do not have to have their own instrument.

Some of these clubs will be going on field trips during the year and all students are expected to be in their absolute best behavior. Both music teachers strongly advise all students:
If you want to audition you must be certain to be in your best behavior during rehearsals, field trips, and most of all during concerts and performances. Students must also be able to arrive on time to all rehearsals.
